ANNOUNCEMENT.....

Trekmania is on the verge of changing to a new host. I can't predict the exact date yet - there are still a few things to sort out - but it will be in the next couple of weeks I expect. The new host is more affordable, and it will be my intention, eventually, to acquire a greater chunk of webspace to finally host the movie clips myself, bypassing the awfully inept Yahoo Briefcase storage facility. This will require a little time to set up as I really ought to recapture a lot of those clips, many of which were first compressed with the rather shaky Angel Potion codec. Making use of DivX technology the new clips should be superior in quality, and far less in file size. Watch this space.

So in summary, Trekmania will be going down for a few days (at most). When it returns it will be on a new host (still www.trekmania.net of course), with perhaps a few changes also: I'm planning to insert a whole bunch of new starship pictures into the fleet section, as well as completing an overall spring clean of the site...
