HOKULE'A CLASS

This ship is currently being redeveloped in association with the ASDB. Here's some pictures of where she stands right now (work in progress)

These are some new views of the Hokule'a.

It's been a long process getting this one right. But I think it's almost there. 

Yes, I'm far happier now with the general shape and design of this ship. I must also credit Kris Trigwell of the ASDB for coming up with 'greebly' designs and ideas for the dorsal side of the ship's hull.

Evolution

The Beginning

Just for reference, there are lessons here for any budding starship modeller. Looking way back to the beginning, to the very first low detail study model I built for this ship, we can see from the above picture just how far the ship came in evolution. This is the old, first version of this ship which I built. Although the general style and shape are the same, it's come some way since then....
