LOW POLY MODELS Here's some work I've been doing recently with low poly models. These models I have created for a Mod for the computer game Star Trek: Birth of the Federation (still in progress). The seven ships I'm adding to the game are Daedalus Class, Constitution Refit, Excelsior, Intrepid, Prometheus, Centaur and Akira. Most of them are complete, some textures remain unfinished. But for progress reports (especially if you're interested in installing the Mod when it's finished), check back here regularly...

Info All models are in the 200 to 300 polygon range, and employ the UV mapping texturing technique. I have had a few difficulties converting the models to the .hob format (required for this game) whilst retaining the UV mapping data of the textures. After much work on this and extensive hex editing of the game's code (BIN files and the like, obviously not the hardcode), I've successfully integrated the first test model (Akira) into the game, but its textures don't seem to be working thus far. If you like the game BOTF and are interested in the Mod I'm making, and you have any queries about it, send me an email I cannot under any circumstances accept requests, for either low poly or high poly work. Sorry, I just do not have the time...
