To foreign intelligence an unknown class type and designation, even its ownership and accountability is not known, though this was believed to be an ultra top secret under test vehicle, earmarked for unknown future applications. They are presumed to be reserved for the exclusive defence of Earth, a very real threat after recent Borg, and then Breen incursions. This class is used in military capacities of defence only, and rather than being considered a straight Starship, they are more of an extreme weapons platform with warp engines, and can even function unmanned for short spells. Nothing else is known about them.
