All of this class, though considered in active service are still completing final field trials prior to full assignment. As a small Escort vessels, though carrying massive armaments, it is a purposefully designed smaller 'brother' to Defiant, and will be similarly deployed.

*A ship would visit drydock for many reasons, including refits, repairs, servicing upgrades, preliminary trials and testing of new components, and spacedock for similar reasons, as well as crew rotation, reassignment, prep period before redeployment, and so forth.
