(My design and vision only)
Lightwave 3D mesh being planned. (Due to the 'Enterprise' and its significant design departure from what ships from this era were perceived to be, expect a reasonably different design for the ship above)

The very first big guns Heavy Cruiser the Federation produced. Designed for defence, control, as well as exploration, they excelled throughout the latter half of the 22nd century, before being retired after 31 years of service. As time passed they began to be gradually phased out by superior classifications, such as Triumph, and Titan Classes.

*A ship would visit drydock for many reasons, including refits, repairs, servicing upgrades, preliminary trials and testing of new components, and spacedock for similar reasons, as well as crew rotation, reassignment, prep period before redeployment, and so forth.
As this class is only of my own speculation, all specs and stats appearing here are hypothetical. The explanations about this data, such as ship designations, weapons, offensive power etc, see Spec Definitions.
