Versatile and highly manoeuvrable Light Cruiser of the early 23rd century. This was one of the pioneers in single nacelle configuration experiments, and saw other vessels of this lineage developed in the future, such as Freedom Class. It was not hugely favoured, as the vessel's finely tuned centre of gravity often became upset causing unstable warp field geometry. This curtailed fuel economy greatly over long distances, as well as causing severe structure vibrations. It was an occasional problem for all vessels of this class, and it was one that was extremely difficult to tackle, and solve. All 55 vessels were built and tested over a period of 4 years. And after the last was launched, an extended construction line was repealed. A few are listed.

KEY
O= Operational
OR= Operational after Refit or Repairs
DD= In Drydock for repairs or refit *
T= Training Vessel
U= Under construction prior to preliminary trials
D= Destroyed
Sc= Scrapped or Decommissioned
PD= Presumed Destroyed

*A ship would visit drydock for many reasons, including refits, repairs, servicing upgrades, preliminary trials and testing of new components, and spacedock for similar reasons, as well as crew rotation, reassignment, prep period before redeployment, and so forth.
As this class is only of my own speculation, all specs and stats appearing here are hypothetical. The explanations about this data, such as ship designations, weapons, offensive power etc, see Spec Definitions.
